Nebraska university district superintendent resigns after DUIarrest

GRAND ISLAND, Nebraska – The superintendent of the Centura Public Schoolsdistrict has resigned right after staying arrested for DUI.

Immediately after a Board meeting on Monday night, Kenneth Heinz’s departurewas announced and he is scheduled to acquire ,000 in severance payment.

Centura Faculty Board President, Craig Welty, said the resignation “was amutual agreement.” His contract would have otherwise expired at the finish ofthis education year.
